Well this part of the cart market is growing by leaps and bounds.  NEV's ( neighborhood electric vehicle ) or LSV's ( low speed vehicle ) are carts that are street legal.  And can also be a very good investment.  Going green can be a good thing.  As of now the government and some states are giving you money back to buy new NEV's, LSV's that are approved by them.  You can get more than half of the price of the cart back.  As of now you need to make your purchase before the end of this year.  You can take delivery after.  But some think this tax rebate will be re-newed in 2010.  Reason being is that 250,000 units is what was stated in the bill that was passed.  And seems that because of when it went into affect theres no way that the 250,000 unit amount will be meet by this years end.  So that's a good thing.  Only thing is that all NEV, LSV, makers are back ordered...so you will need to act very soon.  I have a few different makers that i'm working with so that could speed things up some.
